You can’t go wrong with a classic, Ru’s cheddar potato pierogi, best served sautéed over your favorite side, such as french fries or coleslaw, and topped with jalapeños, bacon, spicy sour cream and chives.
Whisk sour cream and hot sauce together until blended.
Pan Fry Instructions
Thaw pierogi in refrigerator overnight.
Heat olive oil and butter mixture over medium high heat. Add pierogi to pan when bubbling.
Cook 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
For best results cook in batches of 8-10 pierogi depending on pan size.
Plating
Place a deli sheet in the basket. Cover the bottom with french fries and carefully arrange pierogi on top. Drizzle with spicy sour cream and top with bacon, jalapeños and chives.
